‘Those days run away like horses over the hills.’ Yep, I opened this week's newsletter with a quote from a song. C’mon, it’s a pretty good one.
So this is Christmas, which means I need to be all serious and squishy…awkward. Well folks, reluctantly sitting at the Christmas table next to people you have skilfully avoided all year can also be a bit awkward so here goes.
Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year 'surely you can see what I'm doing here?' We are all so very lucky to live in this beautiful country and if it irks you that petrol is a bit pricey and an average coffee is now $5 try to remind yourself that you are living the dream. Recently at a lunch a friend of mine was having a bit of a whinge and I said 'mate these are the good old days.' If you are lucky enough to have your health I really believe that to be true.
Thank you to everyone who has supported our business this year, it’s been another amazing ride and I’m proud and grateful. When I started this business I really hoped it could be something special and thanks to your support it has become just that.
On behalf of myself and the team at David Murphy Residential I want to wish you and your loved ones a very Merry Christmas, I hope that 2023 brings all that you wish for and more.
Until next year,
David
